Think of what blessings you own;
Those hidden and those shown.
Remember the positive and the good;
Realize you should instead of could.
Look in a mirror and like what you see;
Listen, you're better off than me.
No one complains or boasts;
Nobody loves me their very most.
Inside, my heart is just to toss;
I feel the pain of loss.
Those I love dear turn me away;
They don't see me hurting night and day.
All of it used to be mine;
And I used to be just fine;
But now it's long gone:
Belief, friendship, love, and soon- my mom.
