3 oz. vegetable broth
1-2 oz. fresh spinach- chopped
1-2 oz. artichoke hearts- chopped
1 T chopped garlic
2 1/2 oz. Butterkase cheese*
2 1/2 oz. Fontina cheese
1 t grated parmesan cheese
Dash Tabasco sauce
|Directions:||Heat vegetable broth in fondue pot. When hot but not boiling, add spinach, artichoke hears and garlic- mix well. Combine Butterkase and Fontina and add a little bit at a time to spinach-artichoke mixture, stirring constantly until desired consistency reached. Stir in parmesan cheese and tabasco sauce. Serve with french bread pieces or lightly steamed vegetables.
*If you can't find Butterkase cheese, you can substitute Farmer's cheese or Romanian cream cheese- or if all else fails, combine 2 oz. cream cheese with 1/8 c buttermilk and 1/4 T sour cream.
