Title:   Banana Bundt Cake

3 c whole wheat pastry flour
2 t baking soda
3/4 t sea salt
1 c wheat germ
6 ripe bananas- mashed (about 2 1/2 c)
3/4 c raw sugar or other sweetener
1 c soy milk
2 t vanilla
1/2 c finely chopped dates or date pieces
Directions:   Preheat oven to 350F. Mix the flour, baking soda, salt and wheat germ in a bowl. In another bowl, mash the bananas and mix in the sugar, milk and vanilla. Combine the flour mixture with the banana mixture. Add the dates and stir to mix. Spread into an oil-sprayed bundt pan (or 9x13-inch baking dish) and bake for 55 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Frost with Date Butter Frosting [see recipe], if desired.
Makes:   12 to 16 servings
