Title:   Green Beans with Garlic *****

1 pckg. frozen or 1 lb. fresh Italian green beans
1 t toasted sesame oil
8 garlic cloves- minced
2 T seasoned rice vinegar
1 T reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/4 t black pepper
Directions:   Cook the beans according to package directions or, if using fresh beans, steam until just tender, about 10 minutes. Set aside. Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet and saute the garlic, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Stir in the vinegar, soy sauce, 2 T of water and the cooked beans. Sprinkle with pepper and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture is very hot, about 2 minutes.
Makes:   about 2 cups
