Ingredients: |
1 large cauliflower
1 t coriander
1 t whole mustard seed
1/2 t each: turmeric, cumin
1/4 t each: cayenne, cinnamin, ginger
1/8 t cardamom
1/2 c vegetable stock or water
1 large onion- chopped
2 c frozen peas
1/4 t sea salt

Directions: | Rinse the cauliflower, then divide it into bite-sized florets. Set aside. Toast the spices in a small dry skillet until they are fragrant and just begin to darken, about 1 minute. Heat the vegetable stock or water in a large skillet. Add the onion and cook until it is soft, about 5 minutes. Stir in the cauliflower and spices, then cover and cook over medium heat until the cauliflower is tender when pierced with a fork, about 5 minutes. Stir in the peas and cook until hot, another minute or two. Add salt to taste. |
