Title:   Prune Puree

1 c pitted prunes
Directions:   Place the prunes in a small saucepan with just enough water to cover. Cover the pan, bring to a simmer, and cook until the prunes are soft, about 15 minutes. Drain and cool. Puree the cooled prunes in a food processor fitted with the steel blade. Prune Puree serves as a substitute for fat and sugar in many baking recipes.
