2 c rolled oats
2 c water
1 t baking powder
1/4 t sea salt
1 T maple syrup
1 t vanilla
Fresh fruit, spreadable fruit or maple syrup for serving
|Directions:||Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Cook in a preheated, oil-sprayed waffle iron for 10 minutes without lifting the lid. The cooking time may vary slightly with different waffle irons. Serve with fresh fruit.
Note: the batter should be pourable. If it becomes too thick as it stands, add a bit more water to achieve the desired consistency.
