Title:   Incredible Hot Fudge Sauce

1/2 c unsweetened cocoa or carob powder
2 T cornstarch or arrowroot
1 1/4 c vanilla soy or rice milk
1/2 c pure maple syrup
Directions:   Combine cocoa or carob powder and cornstarch or arrowroot in a small bowl and stir with a dry wire whisk. Transfer to a small saucepan and gradually whisk in 1/2 c of the milk. Slowly whisk in remaining milk and maple syrup, and mix well. Cook over medium heat whisking constantly for 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat as needed.
Makes:   1 1/2 cups
