Title:   Nut Burgers
Category:   Main Dishes - Clean (Only natural/organic ingredients), Vegetarian
From:   Vegetarian Barbecue
3 T ground walnuts
3 T ground peanuts
2 egg whites
2 T grated cheddar cheese- or non-dairy for Vegan
2 T grated monterey jack cheese- or non-dairy for Vegan
1/4 c cooked brown short-grain rice
2 T whole wheat flour
1/4 t sea salt
Freshly grated black pepper
2 clean whole wheat hamburger buns
Directions:   Build a fire in a kettle grill or preheat a gas grill to medium-high. Grind nuts in a food processor or blender and add to a bowl. Add all remaining ingredients. Make two patties with your hands. Place on a pizza warming pan and grill about 4 to 5 minutes per side. Warm the buns on the grill for about 1 minute before serving and add your favorite accompaniments- tomato, mustard, lettuce, red onions, ketchup, the works.
