1 c low-sodium vegetable stock
1 T honey
1 T active dry yeast
2 c whole wheat flour
1 small onion- minced
1/2 t dried dill weed
|Directions:||Heat the stock in a saucepan until warm. Transfer the stock to a large bowl. Add the honey and stir to dissolve. Add the yeast and stir to dissolve. Add flour, minced onion, and dill weed. Mix well with a large wooden spoon. When the batter is smooth, cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rise in a warm place until it triples in bulk, about 45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350F. Stir down and beat vigorously for a few minutes. Then turn into a greased loaf pan. Let stand for about 10 minutes in a warm place before putting into the oven. Bake about 1 hour or until the loaf sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom with your knuckles.
