Ingredients: |
1/2 c chicken broth
1 T soy sauce
1 T corn starch
1 lb. flank steak- thinly sliced across grain
1/4 c soy sauce
1 T cornstarch
3 T oil
1 1/2 c sliced onion
1 1/2 t minced garlic
1 1/2 c thin green and red peppers
1 T wine vinegar
14 oz. bean sprouts- drained

Directions: | Mix first three ingredients- set aside. Combine steak, soy sauce, cornstarch and vinegar. Marinate 15 minutes. In skillet heat 2 T oil and fry half meat, no pink. Drain. Repeat. Heat remaining oil, cook onion and garlic until tender. Add peppers, cook 1 minute. Stir sauce and add to pan with meat and sprouts. Cook, stirring, until thick and bubbly. Serve with rice and chow mein noodles. |
